Why one should be flexible
In an earlier post, I mentioned that the trip for the summer of 2010 is semi-planned, but that nothing should be etched in stone. I even submitted pictures of the places I intend to visit … well, that was three days ago. In the mean time, I have “discovered” Budva and Bar in Montenegro (another area, now a country, from the former Yugoslavia … shoot, Yugoslavia must have been the most beautiful country, EVER!) having found Budva and Bar, it could very well mean that we go from Fussen back to Munich, fly to Dubrovnik (and by doing so, skip Rijeka and Pula in Croatia) and after a few days move onto Budva and Bar. From Bar we’ll jump on the ferry to Bari and then do the Amalfi Coast and Rome. See why I say one should always be flexible with travel plans. However, I will keep y’all posted … in the mean times, check out the pics of Budva and Bar … what do you think, I should go?

Yes. The pictures are breathtaking and I think would be well worth seeing in person. Imagine living someplace that beautiful. Someday I hope I to.
Check out the Kotor Bay area when you’re there. If you appreciate beautiful places you’ll love it there. Kotor Bay has the widely accepted accolade of being ‘One of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World’. Great Old Towns there with well preserved examples of Venetian and Baroque architecture.
